An "entry level" technician capable of oil changes, tire rotations, minor services, tire and battery replacement, and basic vehicle maintenance tasks. The role does not involve in-depth diagnostics or complex mechanical work; assistance and guided learning are provided as needed.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
  • Perform routine service inspections or tests and complete standard maintenance jobs.
  • Repair automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service or repairs.
  • Ensure that required documentation is complete and complies with regulations and standards.
  • Help maintain shop appearance and safety standards.
  • Ensure the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions as needed.
  • Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience.
  • Verifiable technical performance record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player.
  • Results‑oriented self‑starter.
  • Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering world‑class customer service.
  • Demonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quickly.
  • Some post‑secondary automotive training (preferred).
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
