• Ensure that customer satisfaction is a top priority and that customers receive excellent service and support during their visit
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of service drive staff
• Develop and implement strategies to increase service revenue
• Monitor and control the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys
• Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments
• Work with the dealership's sales team to ensure that service customers are given the opportunity to purchase new or used vehicles
• Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
• Maintain quality service repairs and minimize comebacks; conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality
• Ensure that the customer waiting areas are kept clean
• Ensure that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance
• Perform all other duties associated with the management of a successful Hyundai dealership experience
