The Parts Advisor Mopar role is a full-time, on-site position located in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for assisting customers, service technicians, and internal departments with identifying, sourcing, and providing Mopar parts and accessories. Daily tasks include answering parts inquiries, looking up part numbers, preparing quotes, placing orders, and managing special requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
The Parts Advisor Mopar also helps maintain accurate parts inventory, organizes stock, processes returns, and ensures timely delivery of parts to the service department. Collaboration with the dealership team to support efficient repair operations and uphold Huffines’ standards for customer satisfaction is a key part of this role.
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide clear, helpful assistance.
- Experience with Dealer Management processes or systems, preferably within an automotive or Mopar dealership environment.
- Effective Communication skills, including active listening, clear spoken and written communication, and professional interaction with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of Inventory Control practices, including stock organization, parts ordering, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Basic automotive parts knowledge, especially Mopar parts, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous parts advisor or automotive dealership experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training is a plus.
