Business Development Support Manager Job Overview
Shape the future of wealth management by driving innovation and growth at J.P. Morgan.
Responsibilities- Execute the implementation of new business development strategies, products, and services to Financial Advisors and Field Leaders.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for field execution.
- Coordinate and lead training and support for sales and support teams to ensure effective adoption of new technology, practice management and business development.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues during implementation.
- Collect and analyze feedback from field teams and clients to inform continuous improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales management or implementation roles within financial services.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience coaching Advisors or a sales team.
- Travel required (50% of the time).
- Valid and active Series 7 license (obtain within 60 days of employment).
- Valid and active SIE exam (for those registered after Oct 1, 2018).
- Valid and active Series 66 (63/65) and Life and Health Insurance license (obtain within 60 days).
- Executive presentation and communication skills.

- Training and facilitation.
