Business Development Support Manager Job Overview

Shape the future of wealth management by driving innovation and growth at J.P. Morgan.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the implementation of new business development strategies, products, and services to Financial Advisors and Field Leaders.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for field execution.
  • Coordinate and lead training and support for sales and support teams to ensure effective adoption of new technology, practice management and business development.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues during implementation.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from field teams and clients to inform continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales management or implementation roles within financial services.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience coaching Advisors or a sales team.
  • Travel required (50% of the time).
Required Licensing
  • Valid and active Series 7 license (obtain within 60 days of employment).
  • Valid and active SIE exam (for those registered after Oct 1, 2018).
  • Valid and active Series 66 (63/65) and Life and Health Insurance license (obtain within 60 days).
