Luminator is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager who is responsible for ensuring the consistent availability of production‑critical materials by driving expediting efforts, monitoring supplier performance, and safeguarding operational schedules. The Procurement Manager leads and develops a team of purchasing agents, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to enhance procurement processes and overall supply chain reliability.
What You’ll Do:Operational Procurement Management
- Manage daily procurement of key components and materials.
- Oversee full PO lifecycle: creation, confirmation, expediting, rescheduling, closure.
- Resolve shortages and support production during demand shifts.
- Monitor supplier lead times, delivery status, and logistics.
- Maintain strong domestic and international supplier relationships.
- Review supplier performance (OTD, lead times, quality, responsiveness).
- Drive corrective actions for delivery, quality, and pricing issues.
- Assess supply risks and support mitigation plans.
- Assist Strategic Procurement with annual lead‑time reviews.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, MOQs, and cost‑reduction opportunities.
- Support cost‑improvement initiatives (consolidation, VE, logistics).
- Track PPV and partner with Finance on annual cost updates.
- Align with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Quality on demand, ECOs, and issue resolution.
- Support NPI sourcing: component readiness, alternates, supplier coordination.
- Resolve invoice and PO discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
- Improve procurement workflows and material visibility.
- Maintain accurate data and parameters in Syteline; support ERP optimization.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and AS9100/ISO 9001; support audits.
- Drive inventory turns, cycle‑time reduction, and OTD through pull‑based replenishment (VMI, consignment).
- Participate in VSM and Kaizen events to eliminate waste across the supply chain.
- Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Negotiation — Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
