Public Engagement Intern – Summer 2026

Our North Texas office is seeking a Public Engagement Intern for Summer 2026 to assist the HNTB Public Engagement and Communications group. The role supports team and clients to strategize and implement communications solutions for transportation agencies.

• Prepare reports, track and evaluate results, coordinate program developments, and respond to inquiries.
• Answer phones, receive messages, transmit information, make copies, and edit documents.
• Participate in meetings and interface with various teams.
• Assist management in analyzing data.
• Work on special projects and provide research as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal, written, and/or visual communication skills.
• Eager learner.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize work and multi‑task.
