Purchasing Coordinator
As a Purchasing Coordinator at K. Hovnanian, you will perform lot start responsibilities to ensure an efficient and effective production and purchasing support operation.
- Perform the Lot Start Process, including starting the lot, reviewing files, resolving issues, restarting the lot, and generating commitments.
- Provide support with the Purchasing Manager for all product, pricing and vendor changes.
- Guide material suppliers, trade partners, field associates and sales/design associates toward solutions regarding procurement inquiries by investigating and determining necessary actions.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, associates, subcontractors and vendors.
