Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial strategy for BEWS, including deal structure, pricing frameworks, contract governance, and terms management across all regions.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product to ensure commercial decisions are aligned with business priorities and risk appetite.
  • Establish commercial policies, approval frameworks, and guardrails that enable speed without sacrificing margin or compliance.
  • Lead commercial reviews of strategic and high-value deals, providing guidance and escalation support to regional teams.
  • Drive commercial performance visibility — tracking win rates, deal health, margin trends, and contract outcomes across the business.
  • Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key customers, industry partners, and channel stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership across strategy, commercial management, and business development — including at least 5 years in a P&L‑owning or executive‑level role in the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategy in a complex, fast‑moving enterprise technology environment.
  • Deep expertise in complex deal structuring, contract negotiation, and commercial risk management.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling business development functions — opening new markets, closing strategic partnerships, and driving measurable revenue impact.
  • Experience leading strategic planning processes and translating strategy into operational priorities and resource decisions.
  • Ability to operate across a globally matrixed organization, influencing without direct authority and aligning diverse stakeholders across functions and regions.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex strategy and commercial insight clearly and credibly to senior leadership, boards, and external partners.
  • High commercial acumen paired with financial literacy — comfortable owning margin, cost of sale, and deal ROI conversations.
