Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Leaves & Disability Management Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of Leave of Absence (LOA), provide vendor management support of leave cases, manage cases tied to milestones, ensure proper documentation of Toyota leave cases, lead various leave of absence projects, research and lead compliance related work, and onboard/train new Leave of Absence Coordinators on the Leave and Accommodations (LOAA) Team.
This position can be located in Plano, Texas or Georgetown, Kentucky. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of one of these locations. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you’ll be doing- Serve as a subject matter expert for all aspects of leave of absence (STD, LOA, FMLA, Workers’ Comp, etc.) cases in partnership with Toyota’s leave of absence third‑party providers.
- Identify and develop continuous improvement solutions that create efficiency and improve the team member experience.
- Manage and lead compliance, policy, and other LOA initiatives while partnering with various stakeholders to execute.
- Train and onboard new LOA Coordinators and provide day‑to‑day feedback on their performance.
- HR experience within a high‑volume, fast‑paced and deadline‑oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience with disabilities and accommodations process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FMLA/CFRA and state leave laws.
- Demonstrated skills required in the areas of negotiation, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher), or equivalent professional work experience in Human Resources.
- Added bonus if you have demonstrated knowledge of integrated leave programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft One Note, Visio, and Workday.
