Concannon Business Consulting (CBC) is looking for an experienced professional to provide hybrid on-site support for a large automotive OEM in the Dallas, TX area in an “Alliance Program Manager/Planner” position.

About the PositionThe Alliance Program Manager/Planner will support the department’s connected car team, specifically for a strategic OEM alliance program. Below are the key responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively across stakeholder teams to support the alliance program
- Build positive relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) and lead/support discussions, negotiations, relationship management, and follow-up on behalf of the client as it relates to the alliance program
- Schedule, lead, and support meetings with internal and/or external stakeholders
- Develop materials to track and measure team deliverables and alignment with program milestones
- Manage all day-to-day activities and escalate, as needed
- Manage/Support scope definition and intake process management; document accordingly and follow-up with responsible parties
- Coordinate with business planning team for cost collection and pricing activities for OEM alliance
- Work with Procurement, Contract and Legal teams to ensure contract terms are aligned with business expectations, including reviewing and redlining contracts to provide feedback/input
- Prepare/deliver program artifacts such as plans, flows, dashboards, presentations, documentation, reports, etc., as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc activities as business needs require
This is what you should possess to be successful in this role:
- A bachelors degree in related field
- Ideally 10+ years of relevant work experience (e.g. project planning, business analysis)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with hardware and software teams
- Planning, organizational, data analysis, reporting, documentation, and presentation skills
- Proactive with clear, effective communication skills who understands a sense of urgency
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and transparent environment
- Collaborative team member who is willing to take initiative, adapt to changing responsibilities, and contribute in both leadership and support roles to drive team success (someone who will pull up their sleeves and be flexible to support)
- Ability to support on-site (Plano, TX)
- Occasional travel (1-2x a year) may be requested
- Fluency in English; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future
- Experience working in a joint/alliance program
- Experience in the automotive industry, specifically with an OEM
- Experience working in connected technologies, e.g. telematics
