SAS/SQL Developer

Location: Plano, Texas (hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

We are seeking an Application Programmer to analyze, design, develop, enhance, and support applications that integrate with existing business components. This role involves utilizing established processes, frameworks, and technologies to meet project requirements and provide ongoing support. The position requires coordination with business teams to understand requirements and analyze the potential impact of change requests.

• Analyze, design, develop, enhance, and support applications integrated with business components.
• Develop solutions for new project requirements and support existing ones.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of application and process issues, including problem identification and coordination with support teams.
• Communicate work progress regularly with management, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Learn and apply knowledge of business processes to assigned tasks.
• Gather and interpret data requirements, perform research and analysis, and contribute to business design and data mapping.
• Develop data sourcing and transaction monitoring solutions.

• Proficiency in software development using SAS, Teradata, and Unix scripting.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of banking products, operational processes, and end-to-end transaction flows.

• Ability to communicate effectively across technology, business, and leadership areas.
• Strong organization and team skills.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and learning quickly.

• Experience with Spark and Hadoop.
• Knowledge in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain.
