Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in business analysis within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EPIC systems and a proven track record of delivering high quality products that meet user needs and business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive product vision and execution.

Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and priorities.

Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation within the healthcare sector.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement product strategies that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the product lifecycle.

Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform future iterations and enhancements.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all product development activities.

Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Mandatory Skills

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in the healthcare domain.

Strong knowledge and hands on experience with EPIC systems.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable user stories.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience in Agile methodologies and product management practices.

Preferred Skills

Experience with other healthcare IT systems and technologies.

Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and HITECH.

Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).

Experience in user experience (UX) design principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

10 15 years of experience in business analysis and product ownership, with a focus on healthcare.

Proven track record of successful product delivery and stakeholder management.

Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and emerging trends.
