About this opportunityAs Head of Core Networks Solution & Delivery Transformation - Americas, you will be part of the Americas CSS Core Networks leadership team. You will help define and drive the strategy to elevate our competitive position in solutioning and service delivery, moving toward a unified, modern, data-driven, software-first operating model across Core Networks. You will accelerate adoption of the Global Assets Playbook and build out the modern Automation + AI framework to improve quality, time-to-market, reusability and continuous improvement in production.
Success will require tight collaboration across BA CN, SDU, GFGO, CSS, NEW and other peer organizations, while balancing long-term strategic direction with pragmatic near-term value delivery.
- Own and evolve the roadmap, translating strategy and stakeholder input into a prioritized portfolio of business-outcome use cases across solutioning, delivery, lifecycle management, troubleshooting and O&M.
- Define what should be industrialized and adopted, the expected outcomes and priority order. Equip accountable director peers with execution priorities, decision context and planning support while ownership remains with them.
- Shape and drive the Automation + AI direction across solutioning and service delivery flows, including reusable agent patterns, skills and prompts, human validation, APIs and MCP‑ready interfaces, data access, orchestration and integration requirements.
- Define the enabling guardrails and readiness expectations for data, security, privacy, compliance, observability, quality evaluation and AI cost transparency, working with the accountable platform and execution owners to resolve cross‑organizational dependencies.
- Lead a small team of senior individual contributors and mobilize matrix programs across organizations, with clear actions, risks, mitigations, prioritized asks and support needs.
- Define and operate the executive and operational performance drumbeat, tracking adoption, quality, reuse, effort reduction and measurable business value.
- Develop compelling communication assets for executive alignment, customer and Customer Unit roadshows, and execution handoffs, linking priorities to measurable outcomes.
- Continuously listen to internal and external stakeholders, convert insights and lessons learned into priorities, and maintain proactive stakeholder engagement at executive and operational levels.
- Willingness to travel for customer and stakeholder engagements, approximately 10–20% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other science disciplines.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in customer delivery and program management, with the ability to connect technical complexity to business priorities, investment choices and executive decisions.
- A constructive challenger mindset: action-oriented, comfortable with build, try, learn and adjust, and able to balance longer‑term scale with tangible, reusable and replicable near‑term wins. Practical awareness of automation, data platforms, APIs, observability and agentic AI is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, listening, influencing and executive stakeholder‑management capability.
- Proven ability to structure complex programs, set priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Ability to lead across matrix organizations and mobilize customers, Customer Units, Business Areas,…
