Vendor Manager
W2 contract, min of 12 months ONSITE out of Plano, TX Target W2 $ 50-55/hr
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
- Develop, implement and maintain vendor management policies and procedures to optimize vendor performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure that the standard procedures are followed and that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations.
- Monitor and coordinate vendor performance reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure KPIS (key performance indicators) are maintained.
- Analyze vendor performance data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and support the vendor selection process, including the development of RFPs (request for proposals), bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Address and resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of directly related experience is required.
- Vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- TOP SKILLS - Vendor Management, Business Analysis, Process Improvement Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management or Six Sigma are a plus.
- Experienced in contract negotiation, outsourcing strategies, onboarding and vendor performance management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, influence stakeholder, and collaborate internally and externally and across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point) and experienced with vendor management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
