Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Uprite Construction is looking for a Project Engineer who enjoys problem solving, organizing details, and supporting the flow of a project from start to finish. This person will work closely with our Project Managers, Superintendents, trade partners, and clients. The ability to speak Mandarin is important for this role since many of our partners and team members communicate in that language.

We are looking for someone who brings patience, curiosity, and clear communication.

• Help keep project documents organized and accurate from pre construction through closeout
• Work with the Project Manager to track RFIs, submittals, logs, schedules, and daily needs
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and trade partners including those who speak Mandarin
• Assist with takeoffs, quantities, drawing reviews, and updates
• Support field teams by gathering information, solving issues, and following up on tasks
• Help prepare meeting notes, reports, and weekly updates
• Keep project files, digital folders, and correspondence clean and consistent
• Build relationships based on respect, honesty, and reliable follow through

• Ability to speak and read Mandarin at a professional level
• Experience in construction, engineering, or a related field
• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning project software and digital tools
• Clear communication with both office and field teams
• A calm and steady attitude when plans change or issues arise
• Curiosity to learn how the entire project comes together
