Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Uprite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support project execution from preconstruction through closeout. This role focuses on coordination, documentation, and ensuring project teams maintain momentum in a fast‑paced commercial construction environment. The Project Engineer works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents and is an entry point for long‑term growth within the company.

• Support RFIs, submittals, and change order processes to keep projects moving forward.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate file management.
• Assist with scheduling coordination and tracking project milestones.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope and potential issues.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors regarding deliverables and timelines.
• Track procurement activities and ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Support cost tracking, commitments, and basic budget reporting.
• Attend project meetings and communicate updates to internal teams.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and punch list tracking.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• One to three years of construction experience or internship experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred.
• Desire to learn and grow within commercial construction.
