Uprite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support project execution from preconstruction through closeout. This role focuses on coordination, documentation, and ensuring project teams maintain momentum in a fast‑paced commercial construction environment. The Project Engineer works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents and is an entry point for long‑term growth within the company.
Responsibilities- Support RFIs, submittals, and change order processes to keep projects moving forward.
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate file management.
- Assist with scheduling coordination and tracking project milestones.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify scope and potential issues.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors regarding deliverables and timelines.
- Track procurement activities and ensure materials arrive on schedule.
- Support cost tracking, commitments, and basic budget reporting.
- Attend project meetings and communicate updates to internal teams.
- Assist with project closeout documentation and punch list tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- One to three years of construction experience or internship experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred.
- Desire to learn and grow within commercial construction.
