Safety Coordinator
As a Safety Coordinator at Cadence McShane Construction, you will play a pivotal role in championing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance across construction projects, while fostering a culture of safety and collaboration. This leadership role involves conducting on‑site training, implementing safety programs, and driving operational excellence in adherence to federal, state, and company regulations. Responsibilities- Provide EHS leadership and operational support for project teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Implement site‑level EHS procedures.
- Conduct and manage safety training and audits.
- Assist project management in developing a knowledge base for site compliance.
- Collaborate with others on a daily basis to provide EHS solutions.
- Maintain computerized EHS records.
- Champion a safety culture throughout job sites.
- Contribute to the Safety Committee's best practice reports.
- Facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Work closely with Environmental and OSHA agencies.
- Understand and respond to regulation changes affecting ongoing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
- 4+ years’ experience in construction safety.
- OSHA 30‑hour training required.
- Full‑time, in‑person role at multiple job sites.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License and own car required.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
