Senior Estimator

We are actively seeking a Senior Estimator to join a growing General Contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys leading preconstruction efforts, developing accurate budgets, and partnering with project teams to deliver complex projects.

Our client specializes in commercial construction, healthcare facilities, industrial projects, and mission critical developments, with a strong reputation for quality, safety, and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead conceptual and detailed estimating efforts from preconstruction through bid submission
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals for complex commercial projects
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and subcontractor proposals
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop competitive pricing strategies
• Manage subcontractor solicitation, leveling, and negotiations
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams
• Provide value engineering recommendations and identify project risks

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience with a General Contractor
• Experience estimating healthcare, hospital, industrial, manufacturing, or mission critical/data center projects
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost analysis
• Proven experience managing large-scale estimates from concept to final bid
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Strong subcontractor relationships throughout the DFW market

• Industrial & manufacturing facilities
• Design-build and negotiated project experience
