A highly respected commercial interiors contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth market is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing team. This individual will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while serving as the primary point of contact for ownership groups, design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Responsibilities- Lead all phases of construction projects from award through final completion.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, and financial reporting.
- Oversee project buyout activities and subcontractor procurement.
- Review and coordinate submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving potential risks.
- Conduct project meetings with ownership teams, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field staff.
- Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and at the highest quality standards.
- Monitor project costs and profitability while maintaining accurate forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and industry partners.
- Communicate project status, financial performance, and key milestones to leadership.
- Maintain all project documentation and reporting requirements.
- Lead project closeout efforts, including punch list completion, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, ideally within interiors, tenant improvement, or workplace environments.
- Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate project challenges effectively.
