Asher Med is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to join our growing team in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This is an in-person, full-time role for someone who enjoys social media, understands digital culture, and wants to grow in a fast-paced, purpose-driven medical and functional wellness environment.
In this role, you will work closely with our Creative Director to help plan, create, and manage social media content across multiple platforms. This position offers hands‑on experience and mentorship in building impactful, engaging social media brands within the medical and functional medicine space.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day social media content planning, scheduling, and posting
- Capture high‑quality photos and videos using a smartphone (camera experience is a plus)
- Assist with short‑form video content, including Reels and behind‑the‑scenes footage
- Support content days, filming sessions, and creative projects
- Engage with followers through comments, direct messages, and community management
- Track content calendars, posting schedules, and basic performance metrics
- Monitor social media trends and platform updates to help inform content ideas
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director on creative direction and execution
- 2+ years of social media experience (personal brands and creator experience accepted)
- Strong visual eye with basic photo and video skills
- Comfortable filming content on a smartphone with steady framing and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms and short‑form content trends
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with administrative responsibilities
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in person in the DFW area
- Interest in the medical, wellness, or functional medicine space is a plus
- Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras
- Basic video editing or content production experience
