Job Description:We are seeking a creative, motivated, and digitally-native Social Media Content Creator to own content creation across Ooln's social channels. You will work closely with the founders and marketing team to develop eye-catching visuals, engaging videos, and authentic content that resonates with our community of traders and fintech enthusiasts.
Responsibilities:- Create daily visual content including graphics, short-form videos, stories, and interactive posts for Tik Tok, X (Twitter), Linked In, Instagram, and Discord.
- Develop and execute content calendars aligned with product launches, market trends, and community engagement goals.
- Produce video content including explainer videos, behind-the-scenes content, founder spotlights, and educational trading content.
- Design graphics and visual assets using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite for posts, announcements, and campaigns.
- Monitor social media trends in fintech, trading, and Gen Z/millennial culture to create timely, relevant content.
- Engage with the community by responding to comments, creating polls, and fostering authentic conversations around trading and fintech.
- Track content performance and provide insights on what resonates with our audience across different platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with broader campaign objectives and brand voice.
- Stay current with platform features and best practices for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, and emerging social platforms.
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of marketing, communications, digital media, or related field.
- Content Creation: Portfolio demonstrating experience creating social media content (personal accounts, projects, or previous jobs welcome).
- Design
Skills:
Proficiency with design tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms. - Video Editing: Experience with video editing tools such as Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps.
- Social Media Savvy: Native understanding of Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, and emerging social platforms.
- Writing: Strong writing skills with ability to craft engaging captions, hooks, and calls-to-action.
- Fintech Interest: Basic interest in finance, trading, or fintech (no prior experience required - we'll teach you!).
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of projects.
- Trend Awareness: Finger on the pulse of social media trends, memes, and viral content formats.
