About The Role

We're looking for experienced Graphic Designers in Austin to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems - ensuring they deliver career guidance that is accurate, practical, and grounded in real industry knowledge. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role perfect for working designers or experienced creatives looking to contribute expertise on a flexible schedule.

- Review career questions from graphic designers and visual creatives across different experience levels.
- Write high-quality "golden answers" representing expert-level career guidance within the design profession.
- Develop objective evaluation rubrics to assess AI-generated career advice for creative professionals.
- Identify inaccurate, unrealistic, or incomplete recommendations in AI outputs.
- Apply your real-world industry knowledge to improve AI career coaching at scale.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
- Professional experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, Brand Designer, or similar creative role.
- Deep understanding of creative career development, portfolio building, and design hiring practices.
- Experience reviewing design work, mentoring junior creatives, or managing design projects.
- Strong written communication skills - you can break down expert knowledge clearly and concisely.
- Self-directed and reliable, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- No AI, machine learning, or technical experience required.
- A strong, diverse design portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Experience working in Austin's growing tech and creative scene.
- Agency, startup, or in-house brand experience.
- Art direction, creative leadership, or team management background.
- Directly influence how AI systems guide the next generation of creative professionals.
- Fully remote and flexible - work around your existing schedule.
- Freelance autonomy combined with meaningful, structured task-based work.
