What To ExpectThe SCRA Servicing Associate supports functions within the SCRA team by processing requests related to military benefits to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations. The role emphasizes delivering a superior customer experience through active listening, clear communication, and problem solving to address customer needs.
What You Will Do- Receive inbound calls from military customers and create service requests for lease returns, vehicle transportation requests, retail interest rate reduction benefits, and other servicing requests.
- Initiate outbound calls to customers and dealers to follow up on billing and vehicle grounding requests; proactively assist servicing accounts to resolve escalated issues and educate customers.
- Perform back-office functions related to benefit approval, interest rate and fee modifications, refunds, deferments, and vehicle transportation approval to enhance service and reduce wait times.
- Ensure all requests are processed within HCA time frames and in accordance with policy, procedures, and compliance.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding military policies and customer status updates.
- Minimum 2–4 years of related experience in a customer service or lease-end environment.
- Bilingual a plus; experience with case management systems preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. - Proven track record delivering seamless customer experiences and the ability to thrive in a performance coaching environment.
- Familiarity with Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) policies or willingness to learn related regulations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to resolve issues and deliver superior customer experiences.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with exceptional listening, analytical, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work with people at all levels, multitask, and adapt to change in a fast-paced team environment.
Employees may be in a home or office environment with periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
