Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Museum Docent for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $17.00 - $20.00/Hr. Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Who we are

We are part of the Corporate Communications team for Toyota Motor North America. It’s our mission to share with team members and visitors the many great stories that have shaped Toyota into one of the largest automakers in the world. This role will help guests understand in an engaging, informing and entertaining way all about Toyota’s past, present and future.

What we’re looking for

A part-time docent to assist visitors and staff at the Toyota Experience Center (Toyota Museum at HQ).

What you’ll be doing
  • Welcoming visitors and making them feel welcome.
  • Conducting tours to VIPs, special groups.
  • Assisting visitors, answering questions.
  • Helping staff, includes some cleaning.
  • Opening/closing procedures, turning exhibits on/off.
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills:
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable speaking to small and large groups of people.
  • Must be personable, have a positive attitude, flexible to changing situations.
  • Must be able to follow directions/processes.
Added bonus if you have (Preferred):
  • Automotive experience, car enthusiast
  • Languages – Spanish, Japanese, American Sign Language
