Collective Health is hiring for its Member Services team in Plano, TX. We believe healthcare should be simple, accessible, and technology‑driven. Our team of member advocates questions the industry’s status quo and delivers concierge‑level support to our members.
As a Member Advocate you will immerse yourself in a rapidly‑evolving healthcare industry, mastering operational efficiency and external professionalism. The position includes four weeks of training to set you up for success.
What you’ll do:- Learn health insurance, benefits, and network plans to solve challenging member problems through research, technology, and empathy.
- Connect with members via phone, email, and chat, addressing and resolving a variety of inquiries to help them understand, navigate, and pay for healthcare.
- Collaborate with teammates in the Member Services department to find strategic solutions to member issues.
- Support and cultivate office culture that aligns with Collective Health values and captures the team’s outstanding aspects.
- Report to a team lead; this is one of the most essential roles at Collective Health.
- Want to help others with healthcare situations and possess a resilient mindset that consistently creates empathy with every member.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal, used to navigate sophisticated and moving member inquiries.
- Adaptability in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment to deliver personalized and eloquent member service.
- Ability to learn new software programs and adapt quickly to new processes.
- Technology savvy.
- Maintain composure and compassion while balancing a high volume of tasks.
- One or more years of experience in a fast‑paced work environment.
- One or more years of experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Prior healthcare experience.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.
This position is based out of our Plano, TX office, with the expectation of being in office at least three days per week.
Within the first six months, employees will be eligible to receive additional pay increases ranging from $0.75 to $1.25 per hour for completing post‑service training and meeting performance expectations.
