What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive oral health assessments — periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and radiographic evaluation
- Provide adult and pediatric prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and non-surgical periodontal therapy
- Expose and review digital radiographs and intraoral photographs
- Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as clinically indicated
- Educate patients on individualized home care and preventive strategies — not scripted, not rushed
- Document procedures, findings, and plans accurately in the patient record
- Collaborate with Dr. Patel to develop patient-specific treatment plans and support case acceptance
- Maintain accurate recall tracking and proactive patient follow-up
- Uphold all infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
What we're looking for
- Active Texas RDH license in good standing (required)
- Current CPR / BLS certification (required)
- Private practice experience preferred — you understand the rhythm and patient relationships it requires
- Comfort with digital charting and dental software (Dentrix experience a plus)
- Strong communicator — clear with patients, collaborative with the team
- Laser certification a plus, not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not required
