Our office, Ayik & Berto - Field Endodontics, is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice.
As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Verify patients' dental insurance coverage and benefits.
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre‑authorizations for treatments.
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs.
- Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail.
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes.
- Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance‑related inquiries and concerns.
- Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services.

We are currently seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth insurance operations for our patients, managing insurance claims, facilitating billing processes, and providing top‑notch support to our patients regarding their insurance‑related inquiries. You also have the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role equating to 1-2 years of experience in similar work
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a dental insurance coordinator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Problem‑solving skills to navigate insurance claim discrepancies and denials.
- High level of professionalism and a patient‑centric attitude.
