SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an AutoCAD Designer for a client in Plano TX. The AutoCAD Designer helps bring innovative acoustical products to life in our fast-growing manufacturing environment. If you're a detail-oriented Solid Works expert with a passion for precision and efficiency, we want to hear from you! SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($23/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include: 1st 7am-4:30pmResponsibilities of the AutoCAD Designer

• Create 3D models and production-ready drawings using Solid Works sheet metal functions.
• Develop flat patterns optimized for cutting with industrial flatbed cutters.
• Generate detailed production drawings with Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in drafting practices.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and CNC operators to ensure smooth manufacturing execution.
• Assist in developing custom solutions based on client needs and production constraints.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of flat pattern development and sheet metal design.
• Experience generating detailed production drawings and BOMs.
• Knowledge of configurations and derived configurations for efficient design modifications.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
