Job Summary:
This role focuses on creating intuitive and efficient user experiences for professional tax accountants, translating complex workflows into clear interfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems, explore solutions, and iterate on designs based on user feedback. The position requires a strong understanding of design systems and the ability to de-risk design decisions through prototyping and testing.
- Design user journeys from concept to final execution for tax professional software.
- Simplify complex data-heavy tax and accounting workflows into user-friendly interfaces.
- Partner with product, engineering, and research to solve design challenges.
- Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system across products.
- Utilize prototyping and testing to validate design choices before development.
- Proven experience designing complex B2B software.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end interaction and systems design.
- Comfort designing for power users with dense data and complex task flows.
- Experience in the financial technology or accounting software domain is preferred for this role.
