Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant
. Here is your chance to work with highly skilled/trained physicians who use state-of-the-art technology and innovative procedures for patients who are diagnosed with a disease of the chest, heart, lungs, esophagus or the major blood vessels and veins of the body.

Position Details:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Surgical Assist in cases, Outpatient Ambulatory Visits & Hospital Rounding
• Electronic Medical Records
• Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions
• Use evidence-based medicine to ensure the best outcomes to provide a comprehensive surgical experience and exceptional care
• Assist with vein & radial harvesting, first assist with CABG and valve surgery

Requirements Needed to Apply:

• Active Texas license
• Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience
• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program
• Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery experience. Must have experience with robotics
• Surgical Experience plus 1 – 2 years Hospital & Ambulatory experience preferred
