Team Health is seeking a pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physician to join our outstanding team at Children's Medical Center Plano, a premier Level IV Trauma Center in Plano, Texas. This is a high-volume, high-acuity pediatric emergency department where physicians are supported by state-of-the-art technology, a strong specialty network, and a fully staffed team of PEM-certified physicians.

Opportunity Highlights

* Independent contractor (1099) position

* Competitive compensation

* Base rate plus RVU

* 90 hours of physician coverage daily (recently increased from 80 hours)

* 10-hour shifts

* Daily census: 180-200 patients per day

* Patient volume: 1.8-2 patients per hour

* Scribes available

* 8% admission rate

* EMR: EPIC

* 24-hour in-house radiology reads for efficient diagnostics

* Bedside ultrasound and helipad services available
