Position Summary
The Chicago School’s Dallas campus is launching a Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s degree program and seeks adjunct faculty to teach hybrid courses. The program aligns with CACREP standards and is modeled after the Chicago School’s existing accredited masters programs in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and online.
Responsibilities- Teach hybrid courses in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Dallas campus.
- Develop and deliver course content in line with CACREP standards.
- Support student-centered learning, professional development, and scholarship.
- Foster an inclusive educational environment that respects a diversity of worldviews and faith traditions.
- Collaborate with department faculty on curriculum, assessment, and continuous improvement.
- Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision or a closely related field; a CACREP‑accredited doctoral program preferred. ABD may be considered for a strong candidate.
- Valid license or license‑eligible status as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
- Strong familiarity with CACREP standards.
- Experience as a clinical mental health counselor and clinical supervisor.
- Experience teaching master’s level counseling students.
- Evidence of professional identity through association memberships, education, and work history.
- Demonstrated support for diverse worldviews and faith traditions.
- Commitment to The Chicago School’s vision, mission, values, and philosophy of education.
