You will be the heartbeat of the classroom, moving beyond childcare to provide an authentic Montessori experience.
Environmental Design:
Maintain a beautiful, orderly, and safe classroom that encourages exploration.
Individualized Growth:
Observe and assess each child to provide tailored guidance in language, motor skills, and social-emotional development.
Daily Rhythms:
Lead transitions, self-care routines, and toileting with consistency, patience, and deep respect for the child.
Community Building:
Establish strong partnerships with families and collaborate with colleagues on school-wide initiatives and professional development.
- Certification:
Montessori Infant/Toddler Credential (AMI, AMS, or MACTE accredited preferred). - Experience:
At least 1 year working with the 18-month to 3-year age group. - Philosophy: A profound understanding of Montessori principles and early childhood milestones.
- Disposition:
Warm, patient, and physically able to engage with toddlers (sitting on the floor, lifting, and staying active). - Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively support both children and their families.
