Job SummaryProvide educational instruction to students in Continuing Education non-credit courses in assigned subject/topic in accordance with course syllabus, semester schedule and college mission. Courses may be offered day, evening, distance education, weekend, online, or other instructional modalities in the areas of esthetics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain lab space cleanliness and sanitation per Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation guidelines and manage consumable supply inventory, including establishing a PAR stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring availability for instruction.
- Conduct student assessments/testing, and educational/vocational goal setting for all assigned students.
- Complete daily class attendance rosters and accurately document student absences.
- Develop and submit 100% of learning documentation and course syllabi to the program director of assigned courses.
- Maintain familiarity with current course textbooks, classroom materials, teaching aids, and teaching techniques; revise course content, teaching methodology, and technology to maintain currency and relevance. Return instructor/student books/materials supplied by the college at semester end.
- Prepare and submit student-related forms—evaluations, attendance rosters, tracking and information forms, informal assessments of progress, and other required documents—for 100% of students assigned within the directed timeline.
- Complete and submit staff-related forms—teaching contracts, professional development forms, materials/supplies tracking forms, and additional requests—within the directed timeline.
- Immediately notify the program director of any support services students may need; document referrals. Respect confidentiality in discussions about students, staff, volunteers, and college matters.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of and adherence to College Mission, procedures, and regulations. Keep the program director well-informed of activities, results, identified problems, and potential issues related to instruction and students.
- Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and core values.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of certification requirements (hours and skills).
- Knowledge of lab and clinical site requirements.
- Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Sedentary work requiring sitting most of the time, with occasional or negligible lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving objects, including the human body. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions involve talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking, and repetitive motions in an office environment with minimal physical effort.
RequirementsHigh school diploma and two (2) years of industry experience in esthetics. Proven work experience in the relevant industry as well as proven training and/or teaching experience.
Licenses and CertificationsActive Esthetician license required.
