Role:
Senior Fortinet SD-WAN Architect / Engineer
Locations:
Plano, TX (Onsite)
- Hands-on Fortinet Secure SD-WAN ownership
- Candidate must have designed and owned Fortinet SD-WAN (not support-only or firewall-only)
- Strong core networking fundamentals
- Proven experience designing WAN routing using BGP and OSPF in enterprise environments
- Enterprise-scale SD‑WAN deployments
- Experience delivering Fortinet SD‑WAN across multiple sites (hub‑and‑spoke or hybrid WAN)
- Own end-to-end design and architecture of Fortinet Secure SD‑WAN solutions
- Design and implement hub-and-spoke and hybrid WAN architectures
- Lead SD‑WAN migrations from legacy WAN or Cisco environments to Fortinet
- Design and deploy ADVPN, business‑intent policies, and traffic steering
- Configure and manage Forti Gate SD‑WAN, Forti Manager, and Forti Analyzer
- Design WAN routing using BGP and OSPF (MPLS, DIA, LTE/5G)
- Support enterprise-scale, multi-site deployments
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during rollout and optimization
- Document designs and clearly explain architecture decisions
