Hardware Engineer; HSPICE

I am looking for one person but have a feeling that I will not be able to find anybody for the larger role (system level + chip level ESD) and create a liter requirement set as a backup.

• Famiarity with wide range of IO specifications and standards
• HSPICE simulations of IOs used in customer applications to identify issues

• Review layouts to identify placement or DRC issues
• Create baseline bus resistance tables for use in Library User Guides

• Work to identify actual problems versus implementation errors

• Mainly HSPICE, but some simple Verilog
• Knowledge of .lib (Synopsys Liberty model) files and what is needed to create/validate them

• Use layout tools to determine bus resistances for new libraries
• Gather implementation guidelines that are specific to each technology

• Perform XLS and GDS reviews

With design / esd experience to handle everything minus the system level and padring level issues

(> 8 years experience with program management)

• BSEE or equivalent (4 - 5 years at accredited University) plus 5 yrs Experience
• MSEE or equivalent (5 - 6 years at accredited University) plus 6 yrs Experience
• Knowledge of Semiconductor Materials, Products, Circuitry, and Design Flows. Knowledge of ESD requirements and recommended implemation solutions. Familiarity with wide range of IO specifications and standard.
• Experience with Electronic Hardware used for parametric Measurement and Design.
• Eight Years Design Experience with Circuit Design and simulation Tools (HSPICE/Spectre).
• Five to Eight Years Design Experience with CAD Design/Verifiction Tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsis, etc.).

Sustem level + Chip level ESD

Senior Systems Engineer (> 10 years experience with program management)

• BSEE or equivalent (4 - 5 years at accredited University) plus 7 yrs Experience
• MSEE or equivalent (5 - 6 years at accredited University) plus 8 yrs Experience
• Knowledge of Semiconductor Materials, Products, Circuitry, and Design Flows. Knowledge of ESD requirements and recommended implemation solutions. Detailed knowledge with wide range of IO specifications and standard.
• Working knowledge to troubleshoot actual problems versus implementation errors.
• Experience with Electronic Hardware used for parametric Measurement and Design.
• Candidate must have semiconductor design and layout experience.
• Eight Years Design Experience with Circuit Design and simulation Tools (HSPICE/Spectre).
• Five to Eight Years Design Experience with CAD Design/Verifiction Tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsis, etc.).
• Perform XLS and GDS reviews for client product level ESD implementation.
• Ability to utilize HSPICE to simulate actual circuit performance.
