The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader(mail) in ISR and aviation, serving as a prime for integrated aircraft systems. We develop, test, certify, and support complex ISR and aviation solutions.

We are building the next‑generation Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC). If you are passionate about building the airborne command post of the future, consider SNC.

As an aerospace engineer, you will research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting‑edge products and services across advanced mission payloads and integrated aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) procedures and standards and troubleshoot complex aerodynamic problems within the NC3 business area.
  • Plan, schedule, execute, and report aerodynamic database campaigns for transport‑category aircraft.
  • Review and compile results from the aerodynamic analysis team and present findings to internal teams, leadership, and customers.
  • Generate wind tunnel data corrections.
  • Identify skill gaps within the CFD team, organize training sessions,Factor and encourage continuous learning and professional growth among engineers.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline with typically 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.

  • Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Experience in multi‑disciplinary design and development teams.
  • Experience using CFD tools to analyze external aerodynamics of aerospace vehicles.
  • Experience coordinating with design teams to improve aerodynamic performance of aerospace vehicles.
  • Experience sbobet générer CFD procedures or standards.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Experience with Siemens tout-CCM+ strongly preferred.
  • Experience with internal flow analysis such as environmental control systems or aerodynamic inlet ducts.
  • Knowledge of the 14 CFR Part 25 Type (TC) or Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process.
  • Understanding of aircraft external loads, performance, stability, and control.
  • Familiarity with wind tunnel and aircraft flight test.
  • Background in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Understanding of system‑level static and dynamic modeling and simulation.
  • Exposure to aircraft stability principles and control system design and analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry‑standard aerospace principles, including parametric design, model‑based definition, and fundamentals of flight mechanics.
