Telnet Inc. is seeking a talented Data Logging Engineer to support 4G/5G log analysis, network performance troubleshooting, automation, and technical delivery for a leading wireless customer operation. This role is essential for uncovering performance issues, driving root-cause resolution, and maintaining high-quality wireless service performance.

As a Data Logging Engineer, you will capture, interpret, and troubleshoot system-level logs from 4G/5G RAN and core network elements. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to analyze KPIs, identify service degradations, and support feature testing and software upgrades. This hands-on role requires strong scripting skills to automate log analysis and provide actionable insights. You will also support customer communications, ticket updates, and critical outage recovery, including 24×7 support rotations when required.

• Capture, process, and analyze system-level logs across 4G/5G network domains
• Identify root causes for network performance and product-related issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive issue closure and technical solutions
• Conduct KPI degradation analysis and periodic network audits
• Support feature testing, patch upgrades, and software implementation
• Manage ticket updates and reporting for customer-facing technical operations
• Provide on-call 24×7 support during outages and critical incidents
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, or Perl for log analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Network Engineering
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in wireless telecom environments
• Strong Linux/Unix operating system skills
• Experience scripting with Python, Shell, or Perl
• Solid understanding of 4G/5G network architecture and RAN protocols
• Familiarity with S1 interfaces and system-level signaling
• Strong analytical skills with excellent documentation and reporting ability
• Willingness to work night shifts to coordinate with offshore teams

• Experience with log analysis tools and RAN optimization software
• Exposure to automation frameworks and CI/CD environments
• Understanding of VoLTE, 5G NSA/SA signaling, and KPI workflows
• Knowledge of wireless device testing or OEM log tools (QXDM, TEMS, etc.)
• Background in customer-facing technical support or field troubleshooting
