As a Resident Engineer on-site at a leading Tier 1 Service Provider’s Engineering Center, this role provides critical automation development in support of testing the customer s 4G and 5G EPC network elements prior to deployment with Spirent s Landslide Mobility Solution. The candidate will work with Spirent project management and customer management to define scope, schedules, and best practices for completion of and maintenance of the customer s testing framework.
The candidate will also work with the customer s individual contributors on a day-to-day basis in executing upon the priorities.

- Requires a Bachelor s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent.
- Must have 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation.
- Must have 5 years of experience in telecom wireless technologies LTE, 5G.
- Automated scripting languages including Robot, Python.
- Programming languages including C, C++.
- Java Operating Systems including Windows, Linux, Unix.
- Robotic Test Automation.
- REST API for automation.
- Test management tools JIRA, HPQC.
- Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
- Position does not require domestic or international travel.
