This role is essential in supporting advanced wireless deployments, troubleshooting complex RAN issues, and providing customer-facing technical leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong protocol knowledge, hands-on RAN experience, and the ability to engage confidently with operator teams.

As the RAN SME, you will provide end-to-end technical support for 4G/5G RAN features, performance tuning, and interoperability across multi-vendor environments. You will engage with customers, analyze KPIs, lead troubleshooting sessions, and guide optimization strategies. This role requires an in-depth understanding of wireless protocols, air interface technologies, and hands-on experience working with live operator networks. You will collaborate with engineering, integration, and field teams to ensure high-quality network performance and service stability.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert for 4G/5G RAN features and performance
- Analyze RAN KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and recommend optimization actions
- Provide customer-facing technical support during deployment, testing, and acceptance
- Conduct deep-dive investigations on wireless protocol layers (L1–L3)
- Support feature validation, configuration, parameter tuning, and field trials
- Work with integration teams to resolve RAN-related issues and escalations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve RAN performance and stability
- Prepare technical reports, analysis summaries, and recommendations for customers
- Proven expertise in 4G LTE and 5G architecture, protocols, and features
- Strong understanding of L1/L2/L3 wireless protocol stacks
- Experience with RAN troubleshooting tools, traces, logs, and KPI analysis
- Hands-on experience supporting operator-grade LTE/5G deployments
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience with multi-vendor environments (Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Huawei)
- Knowledge of VoLTE/VoNR performance and call flow analysis
- Experience with field testing, drive test log analysis, or RF optimization
- Understanding of O-RAN architecture and cloud-native RAN elements
- Previous involvement in lab validation or feature certification
