CAVA is looking for an Endpoint Engineer with proven experience in modern endpoint management platforms and security to join our team. This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a secure, standardized client and mobility environment. The ideal candidate must function as a subject matter expert for endpoint management and provide escalation support for complex endpoint issues.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Oversee and support the maintenance of CAVA’s endpoint environment including patching, application packaging, and deployment.
- Establish a patch management cadence and protocol to ensure all endpoints are consistently updated to mitigate potential threats.
- Actively research, recommend, and implement improvements to our existing infrastructure and processes to improve efficiency and security.
- Conduct root cause analyses for escalated client issues to develop and implement long-term solutions and system enhancements.
- Design, test, validate, and implement large scale enterprise endpoint solutions, including device configurations, operating system deployments, and software distribution.
- Document system configurations, deployment processes, and changes within the environment.
- Partner with the CAVA IT Security Team to develop and maintain endpoint security standards in line with CAVA’s security policies and best practices.
- Create standardized client configurations of operating systems and software to ensure deployment feasibility with both new and existing hardware.
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and administration of CAVA’s endpoint management platforms for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android endpoints.
- Oversee endpoint licensing procurement and ensure licensing compliance for all endpoints and associated services at CAVA.
- Host regular sessions with internal teams to disseminate knowledge of endpoint management technologies and best practices.
- Lead endpoint related initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives while managing timeline expectations within and across teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with demonstrated success as an engineer providing a track record of driving change and fostering innovation
- Extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with enterprise Endpoint Management Platforms
- Proven track record of supporting endpoint environments and vulnerability management processes, including patching, as well as application packaging and deployment.
- Proficiency with scripting in bash and Power Shell
- Proven ability to research, develop, and test complex solutions independently
- Strong knowledge of systems, networking, security software, and client hardware
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of systems and projects, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
