Role & Responsibilities

• Lead product and feature performance analysis, including evaluation of new products and software releases.
• Create and execute test cases to validate 5G air interface performance and functionality.
• Analyze UE and gNB logs for 5G air interface features; produce detailed test reports highlighting performance gains.
• Perform in-depth analysis of 4G/5G wireless call protocols; troubleshoot and resolve related issues.
• Provide technical training and support to customers on latest products and services.
• Collaborate in team and individual settings to ensure delivery of customer commitments.
• Travel occasionally, as required by project needs.

Required Background & Competencies

• 12+ years of experience in the wireless industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS (advanced degree preferred).
• Strong understanding of 5G concepts: Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, New Waveforms, LTE-/coexistence, and 5G Numerologies.
• Familiarity with 3
  
  GPP Rel-18/19 activities is a plus.
• Experience in system engineering activities: requirements gathering, feature documentation, parameter optimization, performance analysis, test strategy, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in 5G and 4G air interface, call processing technologies, and RAN architecture.
• Solid knowledge of wireless protocol stack (PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, and protocol analyzers; ability to create Tableau reports.
• Knowledge of channel emulators, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Strong understanding of 3
  
  GPP systems (Core and RAN networks).
• Software development experience and HW/SW architecture knowledge are beneficial.
