The Network QA Engineer will be responsible for system, feature, and performance validation of 4G/5G RAN products, with a strong focus on air interface, call processing, and interoperability (IODT) testing. This role involves close collaboration with chipset partners, customers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality product releases.

• Perform system, feature, and performance testing on 4G/5G RAN products.
• Execute IODT and interoperability testing with device and chipset partners in a lab environment.
• Analyze product and feature requirements and convert them into system test cases.
• Conduct detailed protocol log analysis for 4G and 5G (PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP).
• Investigate and troubleshoot performance degradation and call processing issues.
• Support new product and software release validation, including performance evaluation.
• Create test reports, present findings to customers, and support technical discussions.
• Educate customers on products and solutions.
• Coordinate with logistics, and support teams for successful rollouts.
• Ensure customer commitments and project milestones are met.

• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G air interface, call processing, and RAN architecture.
• Solid understanding of wireless protocol layers: PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP.
• Experience with system testing activities:
• Feature validation
• Parameter optimization
• Performance analysis
• Troubleshooting & root cause analysis
• Hands‑on experience with lab testing and IODT testing (preferred).
• Familiarity with 3
  
  GPP standards and releases.
• Experience with EMS systems, network element management, SW upgrades, and MOP verification.
• Knowledge of IOT technologies: eMTC, NB‑IoT, S1 & X2 interfaces.
• Exposure to HW and SW architecture.
• Experience with test tools such as:
• QXDM / XCAL
• Wireshark
• Protocol analyzers
• Channel emulators
• Spectrum analyzers
• Signal generators
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (required)
• Master’s Degree preferred (6+ years experience acceptable)
