Overview

Position:
Production Support Electrical Engineer I.

Location:

Plano, TX or McKinney, TX (commute between both sites). Department:
Airborne RF Electronics Electrical Engineering Department. This role supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program and collaborates with manufacturing facilities, Program Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that arise during production, testing, and integration.

• Ensure Special Test Equipment (SPE) is always operable while improving test yield.
• Perform technical evaluations of hardware, categorize failures, and systematically disposition failing hardware in a timely manner.
• Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities.
• Communicate program leadership with status updates of hardware failures.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, or customer sites to support production (up to 25%).

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
• Experience with standard engineering lab equipment.
• Experience with digital circuit card troubleshooting.
• Experience with schematic drawings to assist in troubleshooting efforts.
• Experience with fault isolation / troubleshooting.
• U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance after start of employment.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics.
• Effective collaboration with individuals from diverse communities.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, C#, C++, Python.

• Security clearance type:
  Top Secret. Status: active and existing clearance required after day 1.
• Position nature:
  Onsite.
