Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
We are looking to hire a Process Engineer to support and launch all technical aspects of new product launches in collaboration with other stakeholders.
DutiesDFx analysis and reporting, manufacturing process development and development of Assembly Documents for new products.
Responsible for sustaining engineering activities, including engineering changes and managing the applicable areas of the business systems for configuration management.
Interfaces with subject matter experts in Test Engineering and Process engineering for specific test/equipment capabilities development.
Review PCB board design from customers, optimize the layout and discuss technical details with suppliers.
Sustain engineering activities, including the support of production teams, root cause analysis of manufacturing non-conformances etc.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public group, and/or customers.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience in an electronics-related discipline.
Minimum 10 years electronics manufacturing background.
Must have detailed electronic component and PCB knowledge.
Experience with Aegis Factory Logix software an asset.
DFM, PFMEA, Lean/ Six Sigma Fundamentals required.
PLM / ERP experience is highly desired.
CAM
350 experience is highly desired.
New Product Introduction experience is highly desired.
Skills requiredExtended knowledge of industry accepted manufacturing, quality and technical standards (IPC, JIT, Lean etc.).
ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 experience preferred. AS9100 and /or medical device manufacturing experience is an asset.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical documents including the schematics and prints.
Ability to interpret engineering tolerances.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Above average communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to sort, filter, and analyze data in Excel.
Organized and self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task.
Comfortable in presenting to and meeting customers in person.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00/hr.
