Senior Lab Hardware Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Lab Hardware Coordinator to support hardware integration and testing in a fast‑paced engineering lab within the Advanced Airborne RF Sensors team at Raytheon.

Onsite, Plano, Texas, United States.

• Manage, organize, and maintain Special Test Equipment (STE) and Government‑Furnished Equipment (GFE) in accordance with program and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with government property management standards, including proper documentation, handling, and audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking systems, including asset status, location, and calibration records.
• Coordinate hardware setup and configuration to support lab integration, test, and engineering activities.
• Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware issues and ensure equipment readiness.
• Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repair activities for lab equipment.
• Support lab operations by preparing equipment for test events and ensuring proper teardown and storage.
• Assist in improving lab processes, organization, and efficiency of hardware utilization.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure timely availability of equipment to meet program schedules.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
• Minimum of 5years of experience supporting hardware setup, integration, and testing in an engineering lab.
• Experience with hardware inventory management and documentation.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance (required prior to start date).
• U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).

• Active Top‑Secret clearance.
• Experience with RF, radar, electronic warfare, or avionics hardware.
• Ability to operate lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Familiarity with calibration processes and standards.
• Experience with inventory management systems or asset‑tracking tools.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of lab safety protocols (ESD, grounding, hardware handling).

• Competitive salary range:$86,800–$165,200
