Title: MECHANICAL ENGINEER III
Location: Plano, Texas
Pay Rate: $59.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 12 months
Summary: Join our clients team to research, design, develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge products across advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, and space exploration platforms. You will conceptualize and deliver complex mechanical structures throughout the entire product lifecycle in a dynamic engineering environment.

• Research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy, and improve cutting-edge products and services ranging from payloads to integrated aircraft and space systems.
• Conceptualize and deliver complex mechanical structures and systems across the full product lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely within multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Perform physical movements including walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs/steps as required by daily tasks.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.
• Practical knowledge of engineering principles and hands-on experience with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.
• Preferred experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
• Familiarity with Engineering Simulation tools including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Thermal Analysis.
• Strong background in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, parametric design, model-based definition, material/hardware selection, and manufacturing/production processes.
