Data Center Estimator

Innova is seeking a Data Center Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for data center builds, expansions, and upgrades supporting unified communications and customer experience platforms. In this role, you will analyze design documents, equipment specifications, labor, and vendor quotes to create detailed BOMs and total project cost models. You'll partner closely with solutions architects, project managers, and sales to refine scopes, assess risks, and optimize designs for cost, scalability, and reliability in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for data center builds, expansions, and upgrades
• Review design documents, equipment lists, and technical requirements to create accurate BOMs
• Analyze vendor quotes, labor rates, and materials pricing to model total project cost
• Collaborate with solutions architects and engineers to refine scopes and design options
• Partner with sales and project managers to support proposals and bid responses
• Identify cost risks, value-engineering opportunities, and budget optimization strategies
• Maintain and update cost databases, benchmarking, and pricing models
• Present estimates, assumptions, and scenarios to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
