Technical Project Manager
Pepsi Co 1NA Engineering is seeking a technical project manager to lead the execution of the Frito Lay Plant Warehouse's Automated Guided Vehicle, Palletizing, Loading Automation, and Board on Floor projects. Responsibilities include leading scoping and design recommendations for Frito Lay's Automated Guided Vehicle Projects, supporting installation and start-up activities for new projects, participating in and leading cross-functional teams of colleagues and outside resources, applying engineering principles to problem solving and managing unexpected changes, managing, communicating and mitigating project risks, developing, managing and executing equipment installation and start-up plans while supervising outside contractors and vendors, managing multiple simultaneous project deliverables, accelerated timelines and competing priorities, partnering with OEMs to continuously improve equipment design offerings, upgrades, training, and maintenance initiatives, and developing into a subject matter expert (SME) for Frito Lay's Automated Guided Vehicle's Expected travel: 25% to 40%.
Compensation and benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,200 - $134,250. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications:
BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and computer skills; CAD skills preferred, proven ability to multi-task, established record of project definition and execution, technical curiosity, innovative thinking skills to drive transformational change, understanding of various warehouse and material handling automation technologies and controls, ability to communicate to various levels of the organization, warehouse/distribution center operations experience preferred, project management experience preferred, ability to travel: 25%-40%.
