Job Title:
Credit Operations Analyst (Syndicated Loan)

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 8:00 AM5:00 PM or 7:00 AM4:00 PM (flexible). Extended hours required during Month-End and Quarter-End.
Contract Length: 12 months with possibility of extension and conversion to FTE
Work Model: Hybrid 3 days onsite required (additional onsite days during training possible).
Conversion: Potential for Full-Time Employment (FTE).

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Syndicated Loan Operations Analyst with direct exposure to agented loan transactions (booking and funding) . The ideal candidate has strong familiarity with credit agreements , corporate loan documentation, and risk mitigation standards. This role requires assertiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders, attorneys, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret credit agreements, internal approval documents, and agent bank notices to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Book new syndicated loan deals and amendments into LoanIQ (system of record) and manage funding activities.

  • Process incoming/outgoing payments and maintain accurate loan records.

  • Evaluate financial documentation to ensure proper risk controls and regulatory adherence.

  • Partner with internal teams, legal counsel, and clients to resolve documentation issues and support transaction execution.

Required Qualifications
  • Direct experience with syndicated (agented) loan transactions booking and funding required .

  • Proficiency in LoanIQ and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Knowledge of corporate lending, credit agreements, and syndicated loan documentation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Banking, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Commercial Real Estate (CRE) syndicated loan knowledge.

  • Financial credit analysis experience assessing corporate creditworthiness.

  • Understanding of regulatory updates impacting syndicated lending.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage high transaction volumes efficiently.
